The Invisible Climax

I think I’m in a lot pain yet having no gain

Reaching towards the invisible climax

Only to realize it’s the illusion of what my life is

This is the reality they call corporate biz

I hate it ya know, walking on tip toes

Thinking if I’m careful I’ll be in the know

Despite the fact I’m struggling

Fabulously failing,

Dedicated dying

On an invisible climax I call success

You Know Me

Written: 09/10/2018

The phrase is repetitive

Ringing in every ear

To whoever is near

It's a pitiful phrase

That began for a chance

Way beyond what is deserved

At any point in this speech

This turn of phrase is said

Run. Run. Run. Run.

It'll repeat as chances

Repeating a cycle of tolerance

And acceptance

For the price of friendship

Or love from a ghost

Of a human being begging

"you know me"

When really they stopped

Knowing who you are.

Darling Lover of Mine

Written: 09/11/2018

Darling Lover of mine, how sweet your eyes are gazing towards mine. Did you wonder where that gaze comes from? I thought about it often questioning the connection of my soul to yours. I thought about kisses and stolen hugs and days where it was just you I miss. I remembered Hawaiian breezes and mountain peaks as a moment alone for us. In your gaze, I see all of the time together and all of the time yet to come. My eyes are charmed in your gaze as we settle into a colder season wondering how life will treat us. We wept, we grieved, we chuckled summers eve. As time crept around us the question of togetherness faded. We were initially an idea and now a loving reality. Do you remember when you first said you loved me? Do you remember why? So scared of those words I used to be, worried I would disrupt the path you were meant to be on. Now I'm afraid of a road away from mine, or a loss of life that my heart so intimately entwines. How bothersome it is to contemplate the complexity of your gaze but how joyous it is to turn around and see it love me for who I am so intimately

Pink Mouse Stuck in a Cherry house

Pink Mouse stuck in a cherry house

creeping along to dally a sing song

a nibble to a cheese platter

indigestion of a lactose intolerant matter

a mouse on the run from

indiscretion and brown fun

A pitter patter to the wall holes

as home is in the clutter of support poles

a pink mouse is home, sick as a lick

from funny tasting cheese platter

left out like a deadly picnic.
