The Golden Hour

Written: 11/26/2018

I look like my soul is from another place, another world, a different mentality. I don't understand it, this isolation and agitation of unfamiliarity. Keep me here. I’m not sure I want to return wherever I left, whatever story I left behind. Isn't this time golden? I keep thinking to myself I am alone in the aura of my mindset, trapped in the ribbed cages of an idea of self. Trapped in a golden hour holden on to whatever sanity I find I have left.

The golden smile, its the one I gave right after I break, its a fixed position in time to remind me, that I have a star in me to do whatever it takes, i’m a golden hour. Out of time, fleeting into the twilight of Oberon and his mystery of misery

My Darling Hands

Written: 11/05/18

Hands grotesque I say, the hands that cling to the withering spirit. A weathered hand lined like the maps of age centered in a tree. Round and round my skin clings to brittle bones that drive a pen across paper anxiously. These hands. These hands make me scream in agony, why don’t you do what your meant to do. Will my dreams die off cause you can’t hold the spirit I need you to. Please. I cannot bare the tragedy of your aches and pains as my mind creates cities of ambition. Were you not there with me through my first words, my first poems, my first love letters tossed to rusted trash cans? Be with me i beg you, do not let your grotesque internal ruin the production of my dreams, and and my voice. Please. I need you to keep my insanity on paper and not within me.

You Know Me

Written: 09/10/2018

The phrase is repetitive

Ringing in every ear

To whoever is near

It's a pitiful phrase

That began for a chance

Way beyond what is deserved

At any point in this speech

This turn of phrase is said

Run. Run. Run. Run.

It'll repeat as chances

Repeating a cycle of tolerance

And acceptance

For the price of friendship

Or love from a ghost

Of a human being begging

"you know me"

When really they stopped

Knowing who you are.

Pink Mouse Stuck in a Cherry house

Pink Mouse stuck in a cherry house

creeping along to dally a sing song

a nibble to a cheese platter

indigestion of a lactose intolerant matter

a mouse on the run from

indiscretion and brown fun

A pitter patter to the wall holes

as home is in the clutter of support poles

a pink mouse is home, sick as a lick

from funny tasting cheese platter

left out like a deadly picnic.
