Mentality

The various moments in my life, along with advice, motivations and fashionable perspectives.

 Cleric - Yukijoro

Inspired by my academic pursuit and personal roots with psychology, mental health, and healing Yukijoro is the second facet I named. The myth of the fantasy creature/spirit and ice deity spoke to me when I read about, "the woman who died in winter". After experiencing and overcoming some of severe trials of my own, I often felt like I was trapped in ice, looking towards a positive and beautiful world. So the frozen healer holding a mirror is one of my perceptions of self. My stronger, but perhaps melancholic, muse helped me through loneliness and isolation by reshaping my writing voice and emotive style. The focus of my writing style under the influence of my inner muse yukijoro is "mentality" and the overall reflection of the emotions that lie deep within. My hope is to process the life lived and the life I hold now. Of all my writing voices, this is the most true to the me now, I am still the woman who is healing from her winter. This facet has the most presence on my blog, as she is the one reflecting on my journey and experiences.

You can catch this guide on my main blog sharing my wisdom, experiences, and reflections.

Working towards more fulfilling self-love and exploration is the goal of all my writing, and why I explore how I navigate my life. If you feel you need help building an emotive goal, you can now email or message me at your discretion. - E&HS: Setting Emotive Goals

A Note from Jade

These glimpses of my life like chapters of breathing memoir vary from topic to topic. Some are heavy, and some are light please keep in mind that these are moments from my life past, present, and dreams for the future. -Jade

Chapter 16: Stir Fried Babe

If it doesn’t heal today it'll heal tomorrow

There’s gets a point in time when you are beyond the limit of the limit and are just ready for the end of all the mess. The point in your life where you want to jump past this section of mess and get to success and security. If there was some hack, like white privilege that I could use I would be phenomenal.

I had a moment this past week, where an old acquaintance decided to take a direct shot of hot mess to my inbox. Instead of working through the issues, and actually being receptive to a conversation they played true to character and dipped. It’s gotten to the point where the emotional energy I have is at zero. Can you imagine the sun just going out like a lightbulb? That’s my metaphor of social energy, and all around a love of people depleting. So how do I restart the sun in me?

Some might just suggest a higher power, or perhaps a bottle of well-aged whiskey. Others journaling, or some splatter type of art. Point is, recharging, after all, the toxic and negative battering that occurs in socialization is important. As intricate as life is, various experiences weave together and get knotted within us. Untangling those experiences is important in our journey and in healing. In reference to a meme I saw perusing Facebook, humans are really anxious little walking cucumbers. So while I might be trying to live my best veggie tale life, I’m still met with obstacles and events that stir-fry me up.

So, in the time of sunshine, pollen, and Dunkin’ Donuts Coolatta drinks living my best life means meeting sizzling oil and being as scrumptious as possible. Instagram, Facebook, and all things Jadedisland are moving forward and up. The time to beef is finished. Don’t have your life be a news cycle of old drama from a while ago, let things go. Let life move forward, be wary but forgiving. Trust me when I say, that having your energy go down or be wasted is taxing. Live the best life for you! Focus on your presence and your journey. Lingering drama is like stale food, it’s there but disgusting after awhile.
