Magical Girl

Battle Mage - Magical Girl

Inspired by my love of Anime Magical Girls, this facet of my writing and style represents my Kawaii (Japanese for “Cute”) lifestyle. I admire Ultra Femme aesthetics, the color pink, and magic. From Sailor Moon to Sanrio this part of me is 100% invested in being Kawaii and Fierce. This is the newest of my inner selves, and perhaps most famous for “Pink Energy”. I have a fiery spirit and temper and I protect femme energy, Kawaii lifestyles and all kawaii melanin I come across. Unique to this writing voice, “Kawaii Journalism”  a writing style I created on my own, is to share the intersection in kawaii lifestyles, and mentality. You can look forward to seeing my work featured soon, but for now enjoy it on my blog.

You can catch this guide to navigate you to my Kawaii blogging, and cute style and cute ideas.

I actually named my Harajuku look because of Aquariuses Dad, we will call him Pops M. He saw my outfit and told me about hearts in Spanish, and it was very wholesome and lovely. I was happy he liked my coord. I found that in this outfit wearing a heart is its own symbol. Plus naming the outfit the way I did keeps me grounded in the belief that fashion can be a universal experience. I can’t get enough of how fun this outfit was for me, but let me just chime right on to what inspired this look!

Wearing your Heart is a Gift, not a Flaw:

I’m a big fan of the artist, Marina, and the Diamonds. One of her visual motifs is her heart tattoo, or it might be a stamp on her cheek. It's also one of the reasons why I love wearing heart-shaped glasses. The idea is having your heart so open and public while it appears to be vulnerable is when the reality is your heart is stronger for it. The main feature of my outfit is the Menhera Shirt Broken Baka Idiot by MaeykohMenhera . I love how comfortable the shirt is in contrast to how vibrant it is with a Menhera theme. Inspired by the shirt, I thought about that feeling of “shattered” and the grief of not feeling so put together. Honestly, I remembered why one of my facets Yukijoro came into being. Which is what inspired the second feature of my coord. The ring of hearts, not to be confused with the ring of fire like in Finding Nemo.

I felt that even in grief you could rediscover love. You will find it again; whether that be in self-love or from friends, and family. I surrounded the shattering girl with a ring of plush hearts. I liked the idea that the hearts had their eyes closed, symbolizing to me the experience of self-love. It might be a Leo thing to be that extra, but I found it to be the type of story I want to share in my colorful kawaii world. Make-up took inspiration from the concept of grief, and I pulled colors from my outfit color palate and sparkled it up because that’s the type of Leo Queen I am!
