Magical Girl

We forget about the journey of magical girls and here is the space in which I explore everything related to kawaii, harajuku, anime, and everything pink.

Battle Mage - Magical Girl

Inspired by my love of Anime Magical Girls, this facet of my writing and style represents my Kawaii (Japanese for “Cute”) lifestyle. I admire Ultra Femme aesthetics, the color pink, and magic. From Sailor Moon to Sanrio this part of me is 100% invested in being Kawaii and Fierce.

Kawaii Street: Pastel Goth or Dark Kawaii

Fashion Confession: Despite my pink presence over Instagram and well everywhere in life, including work. My fashion energy has always been obsessed with the Gothic visual aesthetic. There is something really powerful about wearing the color black that I refuse to let die within me, even though I am transitioning to a vibrant/pastel look overall. Is it my obsession with the number one anime baddie “Dark Lady” that fuels my inner goth?  Whatever nefarious villain energy I have, I’m fulfilling it with my pastel goth looks. I like the vibrancy of wearing all black, its powerful. When you sprinkle a look with a pop of pastel or color you create a cosmic presence.

In some of my favorite pastel goth looks I’m wearing tee’s from Adornedbychi. Which if you didn’t know is one of my main sources of Soft femme tee’s. I’m here for the looks that acknowledge my inner “Black and strange”. Sometimes, pink isn’t the energy I have, sometimes I need to go from cute to darker cute. Its why, I started naming some of my looks “Dark Kawaii”, because I am starting to believe that kawaii isn’t always light and fluffy. Perhaps this is my draw to Menhera, Yamekawaii, and pastel goth. It’s my belief that sometimes a little dark doesn’t take away from being Kawaii. What do you think about Pastel Goth and Dark Kawaii? Know any stores I should check out to embellish this look?
